Who we are and what this covers
Green Zone Technology Inc., Canada ("Green Zone", "we" or "us"), develops Treatfall. This policy explains information used by the game, our Treatfall support correspondence and visits to these Treatfall pages. Contact us at hello@greenzoneca.com with the subject "Treatfall Privacy".
Treatfall has no separate Green Zone account or developer-operated gameplay server. Core puzzle play works offline. The game uses Google Mobile Ads to display advertising to eligible non-Premium players when online, and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage privacy consent where required. Premium players with verified active subscriptions do not receive ads. We do not operate a separate Green Zone advertising analytics or player-tracking server. We do not sell personal information ourselves.
Advertising and consent
When ads are available and permitted, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers where available, app/device details, ad impressions or interactions, diagnostics, and consent preferences to deliver, measure, limit and, where permitted, personalize ads. Processing depends on applicable law, device settings and your choices. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy. Google Mobile Ads and UMP can be updated separately from Treatfall; this policy describes their role in the app.
When required, Treatfall presents Google's privacy-consent message and an entry point in Settings to review advertising privacy choices. You can also use iOS privacy and tracking settings. With no internet connection, or without eligibility to request ads, the core game continues without advertisements or interruption.
Information on your device
Treatfall uses local app storage for your best score and preferences, including language, sound and control settings. These help remember your choices between sessions. The current game board is not saved as a continuing game session. Treatfall does not provide its own iCloud synchronization or cloud-save service, and it does not upload these local records to a Green Zone server.
The game does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location or photo library. A profile picture displayed through Game Center comes from Apple, rather than access to your photo library.
Optional Apple Game Center features
When Game Center is available and you are signed in, Treatfall connects to Apple's Game Center to authenticate your player profile, submit scores and display global and friends leaderboards. These online features use information such as player nicknames, Game Center profile pictures, scores and ranks. Game Center identifiers help the app recognize your own leaderboard entry.
A score submission also includes a flag indicating whether Premium was active at the time of submission. This records the historical context of that score; it does not contain your payment-card details. Treatfall does not send these Game Center records to a separate Green Zone gameplay server.
Apple processes Game Center information under its own terms and privacy practices. Your nickname, profile picture and leaderboard scores may be visible to other players. Visibility and other Game Center activity sharing depend on Apple's features and your settings. Read Game Center & Privacy and manage your profile and sharing in your device's Game Center settings. You can play the core puzzle without using Game Center.
Apple purchases and Premium access
If you use an in-app purchase or subscription offered in Treatfall, Apple's StoreKit handles the purchase process. The app looks up available products and uses verified Apple transaction information, product identifiers and purchase or subscription status on your device to check access, restore purchases and respond to changes in your entitlement.
Apple handles checkout, billing and payment information. Green Zone does not receive your payment-card details through Treatfall. Apple retains purchase and account records according to its own policies, including the Apple Privacy Policy. For subscription and purchase choices, see the Terms of Use & Play Guide.
Support messages and website visits
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any name, attachments or other information you choose to include. We use this information to answer your request, investigate a reported problem and keep necessary support or business records. Please avoid sending passwords, full payment details or unrelated personal information.
Visiting these pages is separate from playing the game. Our hosting and network providers, including Cloudflare, process ordinary request information such as IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and security logs to deliver and protect the website. These pages use the website's locally saved color-theme preference and contain no advertising or analytics scripts added by us. We use email, hosting and related service providers for these limited purposes. When providers process information for us, we require protection consistent with this policy and applicable privacy law. Information may be processed outside your country, including in Canada and the United States. Apple operates its own platform services under its own policies.
Retention and deletion
Local scores and preferences remain in the app's storage until that data is removed. Choosing Delete App in iOS removes Treatfall and its related local data. Offload App keeps documents and data for a later installation; removing only the Home Screen icon also does not delete the app's data.
Depending on your device and backup settings, app data may be included in an Apple-managed or computer backup and may return when a backup is restored. Manage those copies through your backup settings. Deleting Treatfall does not delete Game Center or Apple purchase records, and it does not cancel an active subscription.
We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle inquiries, maintain necessary business records and meet applicable legal obligations. We then delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for those purposes. Hosting providers retain operational logs under their service and security practices. Apple's retention and deletion rules apply to information held by Apple.
Your privacy choices
- Use the core puzzle offline, or manage your Game Center sign-in, profile and sharing in Apple's settings.
- Delete the app's local data through iOS, and separately review any backups you control.
- Review in-app advertising privacy choices in Treatfall Settings where Google's consent system requires the option.
- Manage or cancel Apple-billed subscriptions in Apple's subscription settings. Deleting the app alone does not stop renewal.
- Clear a saved website theme preference through your browser's site-data controls.
- Email hello@greenzoneca.com to ask about information Green Zone holds or request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent where applicable.
We may ask for the minimum information reasonably needed to verify a request and will explain any legal limits. We cannot identify or erase information held only in your device storage, or delete Apple-controlled records on your behalf. There is no separate Treatfall account to close.
Families and policy updates
Parents and guardians can use Apple's family and Screen Time controls to manage purchases and Game Center features. Contact us if you have a concern about information a child has shared with Green Zone.
